Breast Lift

A breast lift, also called mastopexy, can be performed either alone or combined with a breast reduction or augmentation. A breast lift doesn’t involve any implants, such as breast augmentation does. It’s simply a lift of the breast tissues, which won’t change the size but will correct drooping by reshaping the breasts. Breast lift is a slightly more complex procedure than breast augmentation.

With breast augmentation, breast lift is another commonly performed surgery in Iran. The cost of this surgery in Iran is very competitive regarding the quality of services from doctors and clinics. It usually ranges between 2000$ and 3000$ in Iran while the same procedure starts at about 10.000$ in the U.S.

To manage the pre-op and post-op doctor visits and give your body the necessary time to recover, we recommend staying at least seven days in Iran. The recovery time will depend on the amount of skin removed, and it can take from only five days up to two weeks. For the five first days, physical activities must be avoided, and rest is required.

The lasting effect of a breast lift varies depending on each patient and several factors, such as your skin, lifestyle, weight, and even surgery method. Generally speaking, a breast lift is a long-last surgery and is usually effective for 10 to 15 years and even much longer for a large number of patients. 

Like any surgery, you may feel some discomfort after a breast lift. However, it is not considered a very painful experience. Most patients describe the pain after a breast lift as “mild” or “moderate”, and it is usually less painful than other cosmetic breast surgeries. Usually, patients report the most discomfort about 2 to 3 days following the surgery, but your doctors can prescribe painkillers to avoid it. A breast lift surgery generally requires less post-op care than other breast surgeries.
